• eDNA Testing Services – Laboratory-based testing for the presence or absence of specific species using DNA metabarcoding or qPCR.

Customers are responsible for selecting:

• The correct sampling kit based on the type of sample to be collected (e.g. soil, freshwater, marine water, biological specimen)
• The species (or list of species) they wish to test for in each sample submitted

Detailed instructions for kit use, sample preservation, and return are included with each order. Improper use of kits or contamination of samples may affect results and is outside our responsibility.

3. Ordering and Payment

All prices are listed in EUR (€) and are inclusive or exclusive of VAT as specified. Payment must be made in full at the time of order through our online payment provider.

Once an order is placed and payment is confirmed, you will receive:

4. Shipping and Sample Returns

Sampling kits will be shipped to the address provided at checkout. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that samples are collected according to the provided instructions and returned to Zinto in a timely and secure manner.

Zinto is not responsible for:

• Loss or damage of kits during return shipping
• Degraded or invalid samples due to improper storage or delayed return

Return postage is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise stated.

5. Results and Turnaround Time

eDNA analysis provides information on the presence or absence of target species DNA in submitted samples at the time of collection. Results should be interpreted in context, and Zinto is not responsible for:

• False positives or negatives caused by sample contamination, degradation, or environmental variables
• Regulatory, legal, or management decisions made based on results
• Species not detected due to absence from the sample or methodological limitations

eDNA results are not a substitute for traditional ecological surveys but can be a powerful complementary tool.

7. User Responsibilities

By purchasing from Zinto, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when placing your order
• Use the sampling kits as instructed
• Select species relevant to your project goals or needs
• Not misuse or falsify the information provided to Zinto

9. Cancellations and Refunds
